After 15 months, over 700 total deliveries and plenty of challenges to overcome, Ares are proud to have completed the last delivery for the Murra Warra Stage 1 Wind Farm. The final component, a 71m blade, arrived to the last of 61 wind turbines being erected for the project on December 6.

Ares Project Manager Rob Vega commented: “It is very satisfying to see transport completed now for Murra Warra. Delivery of the largest blades and towers ever transported in Australia was a great achievement, and we received very positive feedback from communities along the route on how well this was managed. Most of our team, including truck and pilot drivers and site crews, were recruited locally, helping to boost employment and skills in the area.”
