ALL PROJECTS
The Biala Wind Farm consisted of 31 Goldwind GW136 3.5MW wind turbine generators situated north of Goulburn, New South Wales. Ares transported all turbine components to site from the Port of Port Kembla – a total distance of 220km one way.
The Crookwell 2 Wind Farm consisted of 28 GE 3.4-130 wind turbine generators situated north of Goulburn, New South Wales. Ares transported all turbine components to site from the Port of Port Kembla – a total distance of 190km one way.
The Crowlands Wind Farm consisted of 39 Senvion MM92 wind turbine generators situated in Western Victoria, northeast of Ararat. Ares transported all turbine components to site from the Port of Portland – a total distance of 250km one way.
The Caulfield to Dandenong Level Crossing Removal Project (LCRP) included the removal of 9 level crossings, an elevated “Skyrail” section of track and 5 new elevated train stations in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs. Ares were contracted to transport oversized concrete beams, pillars and crossheads from Melton to the project area.
The Lincoln Gap Stage 1 Wind Farm consisted of 35 Senvion 3.6MW EBC wind turbine generators situated in South Australia. Ares transported all turbine components to site from the Port of Whyalla – a total distance of 52km one way.
The Moorabool Wind Farm consisted of 104 Goldwind GW136/140 3.4MW wind turbine generators situated near Geelong in Victoria. Ares transported all turbine components to site from the Port of Geelong – a total distance of 55km one way.
